experimenting

Yesterday I tried a new chocolate recipe.  It made enough batter for 2 baked hot chocolates.  For the ganache I used semi sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and heavy cream.  The cream makes the ganache shiny.  I am shipping these to J and S in San Diego.  Hopefully they will each arrive in one piece.

baked hot chocolate

I/we need to do some experimenting with baking cakes in mugs.  Christmas break project?  I think so. 

Possibilities: red velvet, peanut butter, double chocolate, toasted coconut... ?
